The Supreme Council of Freemasons of Serbia is the governing body of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in the Republic of Serbia and the guardian of the work carried out in the higher degrees 4–33. Within these degrees, Freemasonry continues its ascent through deeper study of symbolism, ritual, and moral teaching, strengthening each Brother to build steadfastness, integrity, and the quiet strength of service within himself.
Our path is not a path of words, but of deeds; not of outward splendor, but of inner transformation. The higher degrees are a call to greater responsibility—so that knowledge does not remain merely a thought, but becomes character; so that virtue is not proclaimed, but demonstrated; and so that brotherhood is not treated as an idea, but lived as a daily obligation toward the individual, the community, and the world.
The Supreme Council fosters Masonic education, safeguards the dignity of the Rite, and strengthens the unity of the Fraternity. In our work, we strive to preserve an unbroken thread of tradition while responding to every era with measure, discernment, and discipline. Where society faces division, we seek harmony; where values are questioned, we choose steadfastness; and where humanity is needed, we affirm the duty of charity and noble conduct.
Guided by the principles of Truth, Justice, and Brotherhood, we are devoted to forming a person who unites wisdom with compassion, determination with self-mastery. May our labor be a quiet yet clear light—a light that does not seek recognition, but brings benefit; that does not raise discord, but builds bridges; and that endures in the conviction that human dignity is proven by character, and progress is measured by contribution to the common good.
Ordo ab Chao.
Fraternally,
Aleksandar Nikolić
Sovereign Grand Commander
Supreme Council of Freemasons of Serbia
